Asbestos fund moving (slowly) forward
The US asbestos compensation fund bill is moving forward to the full Senate after the Senate judiciary committee voted in
favour by 10-to-8. However, its future progress is said to be uncertain as neither the insurance industry, nor labour groups
are supportive of the bill as drafted.
