A 17 year old has won a won a six figure sum in compensation from the NHS after doctors failed to spot a medical condition
until it was too late. The girl was born with both hip-joints out of their sockets. It should have been diagnosed early, but
was not spotted for two years – as a result she will require a hip replacement before the age of 30.
