Kenyan veterans to sue British Government

Leigh Day & Co has been instructed by a number of Kenyan veterans from the Mau Mau uprising who want to sue the British Government for compensation. The law firm says that the veterans allege that ‘the British Government was negligent in knowingly allowing, and possibly endorsing, their systematic torture in detention camps run by the British colonial forces in Kenya.’
