Italy extends payments
As part of the current raft of motor insurance reforms, the compensation convention has been extended to cover claims for
injury as well as damage and will also cover foreign drivers in Italy. The convention allows for a driver to be paid by his
insurer regardless of liability rather than taking legal action for compensation by the responsible party’s insurer.
