DVT or not DVT?

Mr Justice Bernard Bongiorno in the Victoria State Supreme Court gave permission for Brian Povey to proceed against British Airways and Qantas for damages arising from deep vein thrombosis (DVT). He alleges airline negligence in not warning passengers of the risks of DVT. In his case, he developed a blood clot following a business round-trip with a few days stop-over between Australia and the UK, and as a result is no longer able to work.
