Compensation for wrongful conviction

A lower court decision holding that, under section 133 compensation rules for miscarriage of justice, the meaning of ‘wrongful conviction of an innocent accused’ would only give rise to compensation ‘to those ultimately proved innocent, not to all those whose convictions are adjudged unsafe’.
