IVF clinic director dismissed

Dr Geeta Nargund, dismissed from directorship of the IVF clinic where two women were implanted with wrong embryos for unconnected ‘non-clinical matters’, is bringing claims for libel and for unfair dismissal. The High Court libel writ targets the St George’s Healthcare NHS Trust and medical director professor Paul Jones. A further claim of sexual and racial discrimination will be brought at Tribunal.
