Mobile phone ban likely by Easter
As part of the ongoing consultation on the use of mobile phones while driving, the ABI has supported a ban on hand-held models,
favouring the addition of penalty points to driving licences rather than a fixed penalty, pointing out that penalty points
would have the additional effect of increasing premiums.
