Small claims scheme a success
An independent report from Professor John Posnett of the York Health Economics Consortium says that a pilot scheme for handling
smaller medical negligence claims has been a success. The Resolve project was set up to process claims for less than £15,000
in less than six months, with costs capped at £3,250.
