Research by Professor Simon Wessely of King’s College, London into one aspect of Gulf War Syndrome, published in
Neurology
(26 November 2002) reports no link found between harm to the (peripheral) nervous system and toxic substances. Effects on
the central nervous system (brain) were not investigated.
