Botox caution advised

Writing in the British Medical Journal of 21 November 2002, consultant at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery Peter Misra warns that Botox is a powerful neurotoxin and its very long-term effects unknown. He also referred to a study published in 2001 showing that a number of patients seeking treatment had body dysmorphic disorder, more appropriately treated through psychotherapy.
