A-level report

The investigation by Mike Tomlinson, former Chief Inspector of Schools, lays the blame for the A-level fiasco firmly onto the chief executive of the Oxford, Cambridge and RSA board, Dr Ron McLone. Apparently, he wrongly believed that the new A2 exams should be more difficult than the old A-level papers they replaced.
