Bar owners in court for customers’ drink-driving
French prosecutors have, in the last week, brought criminal charges against bar owners as part of action of drink driving.
This part of new efforts to improve road behaviour, with alcohol believed implicated in at least 8,000 deaths on French roads
each year.
