The Catholic church in the US, struggling to clear the ever-growing claims of sexual abuse by clergy, has met with additional
problems from the Vatican. The latest settlement, for abuse of 16 plaintiffs by eight priests in New Hampshire between 1957
and 1982, for US$950,000 is just one of many.
