Lack of stated destination removes liability

A cargo-carrying ship mysteriously disappeared during the voyage and claim made for loss of that cargo. However, as no destination had been stated, under section 44 of the Marine Insurance Act of 1906 the risk did not attach in respect of the voyage where no specific destination had been stated.
