Satisfactory quality of goods

In assessing the satisfactory quality of goods a court must consider whether a “reasonable person” would regard them as satisfactory within the circumstances of the individual buyer and transaction. Domestic boilers were at issue and, although the boilers worked in a satisfactory way the claim of efficient low-cost heating was not met.
