Lockerbie appeal rejected

With the rejection by the special court of Al Megrahi’s appeal against conviction for his part in the placing of the Pan Am flight 103 bomb, UK relatives now demand a full public inquiry into the intelligence and security lapses leading to the Lockerbie tragedy.Their de facto spokesman Dr Jim Swire said there were also issues of continuing poor security at Heathrow.
