French ruling on protection for workers

The final French court of appeal, the Court of Cassation, has opened the way to a new swathe of asbestos claims. This is in ruling on 29 cases where an employer had been found guilty of inexcusable misconduct through failure to ensure its workers were adequately protected against asbestos and other industrial risks.
