The claimant, who had chickenpox at the age of five, was given junior aspirin by her mother on 21 May 1986. Her condition
worsened and she was admitted to hospital two days later suffering from Reye’s syndrome. She now suffers spastic tetraplegia
and epilepsy, unable to speak and totally dependent.
