WTC families sue Bin Laden

The families of seven people killed in the attack on the World Trade Center have filed a class action suit in Federal District Court in Washington against Osama bin Laden, Al Qaeda, the Taliban and the nations of Iran and Iraq, seeking US$1bn in compensatory and US$100bn in punitive damages for all those killed. Saying they harbour no false illusions, they believe it is ‘important to start somewhere’.
