Legal aid for inquests

The Legal Services Commission has issued draft guidance on proposals for legal aid funding for individuals to be represented at inquests. Claimants and their lawyers will welcome this additional aid to seeking evidence for use in subsequent employers’ liability, product liability or environmental claims. Potential defendants need to be aware of the need to have their own representation thereat.
