Warship fitters exposed to asbestos
Devonport Management, refitter of warships and submarines, pleaded guilty to exposing up to 24 subcontractors to asbestos
dust, failing in its duty of care under the Health & Safety Act. Plymouth magistrates committed the case to Crown Court for
sentencing at a later date. There are no details of civil claims from the individuals concerned.
