Rules for solicitors’ PI insurance
New rules for professional indemnity insurance for solicitors come into effect from 1 September 2001. These include a requirement
of disclosure of qualifying insurer, changes to the reimbursement right of the insurer and terms for the extension of cover
to principles who retired before 1 September 2000. They may be viewed in their entirety on the Law Society’s website or in
