FSA fines

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is to target misleading labelling with fines of up to £5,000. Even though most consumers see through the guff, there is ‘far too much meaningless drivel and sloppy, emotive, overromantic descriptions on labels’, said FSA chairman Suzi Leather.
