Civil action against bombers
An innovative civil action against five men suspected of involvement in the Omagh bombing by the Real IRA in 1998 has been
launched in the Belfast High Court by families of the victims. There were 31 dead and many injured. Funding their own action
and seeking unspecified damages, the action was launched within days of limitation.
