No strike out on grounds of ex turpi causa
Lewis-Ranwell v G4S Health Services (UK) Ltd [2022] EWHC 1213 (QB)
In the case outlined here, Mr Justice Garnham refused to strike out a claim in which the defendant alleged illegality. The
claimant had been found not guilty by reason of insanity in respect of the killing of three men, so it followed that logically,
he had never been convicted of the criminal acts in question. The defendants had been unable to point to an act that was knowingly
wrongful.
