Foot-and-mouth threat to aircraft
The Civil Aviation Authority has warned that foot-and-mouth disinfectants used on British planes when abroad ‘could pose a
serious safety risk.’ There are fears that washes of sodium hypochlorite could lead to deterioration of aircraft undercarriage
and associated systems.
