Major claim for Galapagos spill

The government of Ecuador has hired Miami law firm Podhurst Orseck Josefsberg Eaton Meadow Olin & Perwin (which has a track record of handling substantial government claims against the tobacco industry) to file a major claim against Miami-based Air & Sea Insurance. This is in respect of a 240,000-gallon oil spill in ecologically sensitive waters from the grounded tanker Jessica .
