CAP certification

The Indian Register of Shipping (IRS)has successfully completed the Condition Assessment Programme (CAP) certification of four vessels of MOL Tankship Management, Singapore. CAP certificates were issued to two very large crude carriers and two liquefied gas carriers. The IRS carries out CAP certification as per the requirement of oil majors. The IRS has certified more than 200 vessels – including oil tankers, chemical tankers, product carriers, asphalt carriers and liquefied gas carriers – and therefore has strong experience performing CAP certifications.
