Accidents in the home was the biggest cause of adult broken bones claim payments in the UK, accounting for 
15 per cent, according to MetLife claims data for the fourth quarter of 2021. MetLife said every day activities were causing a rise in claims as the UK returns to normality, with accidents in the home topping the list.
