Asbestos firms jointly file claim
in Jefferson County circuit court against more than a dozen tobacco firms, seeking contribution to payments for asbestosis
victims whose condition is alleged to have been worsened by tobacco use. A similar claim from Johns Manville was declared
a mistrial in January.
