First US challenge to genetic testing

The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed action in the federal district court in Sioux City, Ohio against Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. In this, it challenges the employer’s demand for DNA testing of those who claim carpel tunnel syndrome, seeking signs of genetic predisposition, arguing that it is an invasion of privacy.
