Zyban deaths

The Department of Health has confirmed that, since the introduction into the UK eight months ago of nicotine addiction medicine Zyban, 18 deaths have been linked to its use. During this time it has been prescribed to more than a quarter of a million people, of whom 3,500 have reported some level of side effects. Manufactured by GlaxoSmith Kline, bupropion hydrochloride has been widely tested and is used by millions worldwide.
