Bankrupt G-I Holdings sues lawyers

G-I Holdings, formerly GAF Corp which recently filed for bankruptcy protection, is to sue a group of prominent personal injury lawyers, alleging racketeering in that they schemed to flood US courts with asbestos cases regardless of the legitimacy of the claims. Civil suits alleging racketeering can be brought under federal law where a pattern of wrongdoing is alleged.
