Too early for Hatfield decision
With the publication of the second interim report on the Hatfield rail crash, the Health & Safety Executive and British Transport
Police said it was too early to decide whether to prosecute Railtrack. The state of the track, possibly concealed by Railtrack’s
inadequate checking methods, was strongly criticised.
