Duty to train employee
The duty of an employer, as set out in the Woodworking Machines Regulations, to train an employee in the use of machinery
involved more than explanation. It also involves some appraisal as to whether the employee understood the instructions and
dangers involved, especially where he had a poor command of the language of instruction.
