BRIT TO SPEED UP CLAIMS WITH MACHINE LEARNING ALGORITHM

Re/insurer Brit has launched a machine learning algorithm to enable a quicker claims response to natural catastrophe. The algorithm has been designed to identify post-catastrophe damage using ultra-high-resolution imagery, accelerating the claims response turnaround. Brit said the algorithm is already being used to expedite the claims payments for customers in the wake of Hurricane Ida.
