EPA investigates shelved report
The US Environmental Protection Agency is investigating failure of its officers to act on evidence showing that W R Grace
& Co was using asbestos in a wide range of building materials. The report, which shows levels of usage despite the company’s
assurance that levels were harmless, was made in 1982 and since then lay on the shelf.
