Conditions in the insurance market over the last year have been as difficult for buyers as they have been for a number of years, according to Gallagher. It said the Covid-19 pandemic arrived against a backdrop of a challenging insurance market, and quickly exacerbated the issue, with insurers concerned about rising claims and the unstable economy.
