Government action on EL but more needed

The government has set out its agenda for action to help business deal with the costs of employers’ liability compulsory insurance. It has come up with a few suggestions, but generally it seems to have postponed any major decisions. It encourages rehabilitation and health and safety, but has left open the question of separating disease claims from accident claims, or having a fixed-fee scheme.
