New president of FOIL

Claire McKinney, managing partner of Davies Lavery’s Birmingham office, has been appointed president of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL). At the FOIL AGM, she said that her theme for this year is social responsibility. “Under the socially responsible model, there will be excellent risk management and therefore fewer accidents,” she said. “Rehabilitation will be looked at earlier and victims of accidents will be paid whilst they are off work.”
