Halliburton subsidiaries DII Industries, Kellogg Brown & Root and others have filed chapter 11 proceedings. This is part of
a plan by Halliburton to resolve its asbestos and silica liabilities through a pre-packaged bankruptcy involving several of
its subsidiary companies.
