Damages for false sexual abuse claims
A man is suing an NHS trust for £250,000 after he was falsely accused of sexually abusing his daughter. The man, a former
deputy leader of the Scottish National Party, alleges that his daughter underwent recovered memory therapy which produced
false memories of violence. He claims the hospital was negligent for using the discredited therapy.
