£5mn for Equitable directors’ defence
Following an arbitration decision against
Royal & SunAlliance, Equitable Life’s insurer, the 15 directors being sued by Equitable’s new board will receive defence coverage of up to £5mn.
This may increase the cost to Equitable in pursuing their £3.5bn claim.
