Call for Institute to fight class action suits
A US insurer has called for the industry to create an Institute for Securities Class Action Defense to fight against the growth
of ‘egregious class-action securities lawsuits.’ It would be funded by insurers, agents and brokers in the directors’ & officers’
liability insurance.
