Vandalism motion dismissed
Judge John Martin has dismissed a motion from
Allianz that the events of 11 September were ‘vandalism’ or ‘malicious damage’ and therefore only attracted a single pay out. The
matter is to be considered by a jury. However, he backed
Allianz’s contention that their policy with Silverstein Properties was fully completed at the time of attack.
