Complaints force solicitors’ inspections
An increase in the number of complaints against solicitors in England and Wales have prompted the Law Society to bring in
new measures such as inspections of firms and a charter of clients’ rights. The Law Society is also expanding its complaints
office. Complaints against solicitors rose by 37% last year.
