New class of disability

The Work and Pensions Secretary has announced plans for legislation extending disability rights particularly affecting the public sector, transport (banning refusal of use of bus, train or plane) and premises whereby landlords will be required to make certain alterations to property occupied by a disabled person. The definition of disability will also be extended to include those suffering from cancer or AIDS.
