Management companies cut employee claims

Around 70% to 80% of all claims made against associations and association directors and officers in the US are employment-related. As a result, many boards are reportedly hiring Association Management Companies (AMCs) to protect their associations and directors from employment-based liability. This means that the individuals who staff the association are employees of the AMC, not the association.
