Slave labour law unconstitutional

Claims against Japanese and German companies by slave labourers during World War Two were rejected by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. The court ruled that the state law suspending the statute of limitations for former prisoners of war was itself unconstitutional. Other ancillary actions were also dismissed.
